Kim Cattrall has rejected all condolences from her Sex and the City costar, Sarah Jessica Parker, slamming her on Instagram, writing: "You are not my family".

Cattrall took to Instagram on Saturday morning to call out Parker for being "cruel". "(If I haven't already)", she continued. "So I'm writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your 'nice girl" persona".

Cattrall's post linked to an article in the New York Post from October 2017. "Xx (sic)" It had come after Kim asked her followers for help in locating 55-year-old Christopher Cattrall after he went missing on January 30th but revealed just hours later that he had tragically been found dead. A cause of death was not provided, but authorities said it was not considered suspicious.

The two had reportedly been at odds since filming the show together, with the recent demise of any prospects for a third Sex and the City film bringing the animosity back to the surface. Sarah Jessica Parker commented on a social media post that Cattrall made announcing her brother's death, but it apparently isn't welcome.

She branded the 52-year-old actress a "hypocrite" and "cruel", posting on Instagram: "I don't need your love or support at this tragic time @sarahjessicaparker". In a subsequent interview with Piers Morgan, Cattrall also said she and her co-stars had "never been friends", despite their on-screen bond.

We're sure Sarah was just trying to be nice and thought she was being helpful during such a hard time for the actress.

That year she told talk show host Jonathan Ross "it was time to move on" after demands to have her salary increased from $350,000 (£250,000) per episode to $1 million (£720,000) were rejected.

A few days afterwards, Sarah Jessica was appearing on Entertainment Tonight when she was asked about her comment on Kim's post. "I think that there are a lot of people that strangely relate to my character". She and I are sick of this'.
