The tweet implied senior Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett was the offspring of the Muslim Brotherhood and an ape.

"My sister made a mistake and she said something I know she wishes she could take back", Mo'Nique said.

ABC, which had been criticised for signing a deal with someone well known for controversial remarks on social media, was praised for its swift action in removing her. "That's what was in my head".

I'm so sorry if you thought I was racist and that you thought my tweet was racist because it wasn't.

"If she's watching, I'm so sorry that you thought I was racist and that you thought my tweet was racist", Barr said. And I'm sorry that you feel harmed and hurt. I've apologised and explained and asked for forgiveness. And for that I apologize. I'm a Jew and I have family that lives there.

Despite apologizing at times, Barr also said on the Fox interview that she felt like she had apologized enough for her actions.

Barr insisted the Jarrett tweet was "political" not "racial" and was connected to Barr's advocacy for Israel. "She needs a new haircut". "But there was a white woman named Roseanne Barr that showed up for me".

Roseanne also spoke with Rabbi Shmuley more about being ousted from her ABC show. and says the real tragedy is she had noble plans for Season 2. including hiring African-American writers. "We just have a different opinion".

After a weak-ass apology to the woman who suffered Barr's original racist tweet - Valerie Jarrett, adviser to former President Barack Obama - the particularly un-funny comedian chose to double down on her lack of humor by... insulting Jarrett's hair?!

Let's talk about it. Let's really turn this into a teachable moment.

"I'm not a racist and the people who voted for Trump, they're not racist either, and Trump isn't a racist, sorry".

'I think people in America are very forgiving, and I think if you put 30 years of what I've accomplished. and you put it on a scale. ABC subsequently cancelled the show.

In a live sit-down with Fox News' Sean Hannity Thursday, the 65-year-old actress said her tweet was simply political. "Don't assume you know what I meant, because I think you don't know what I meant, and I would like to make it clearer to you what I did mean". They were appearing at that venue because Donny, the owner, had offered them the studio in which they had recorded the four podcasts since Barr's fateful tweet.
