According to reports, Demi Lovato has agreed to go straight to rehab once she leaves Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Hospital followng her recent overdose.

"Right now everyone is focused on getting Demi physically healthy", a source close to Lovato told People a few days ago.

Meanwhile, famous friends continue to support the star - her ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama has been a regular visitor to hospital over the past week, and former tourmate DJ Khaled has assured fans Demi will be fine. He came into the home as her assistant screamed that Lovato was dead.

It remains unclear where she plans to check in. Doctors are not even predicting when she might get out of the hospital, so there's still time to discuss. However, the singer-songwriter, who supposedly refused to tell paramedics what drugs she allegedly took, was reportedly treated with Narcan, which can combat the effects of heroin, but not methamphetamine.

Demi Lovato has not released a statement of any kind, nor has she posted anything on social media since her apparent overdose.

The bodyguard lifted up Lovato and tried to clear her airway, to get her breathing, according to TMZ. "Everyone wants her to take it very seriously and she seems to be".

The singer has agreed to go to rehab upon being discharged from hospital.
