Angelina Jolie wants divorce finalized by end of 2018

According to a NBC News report, Jolie claimed in a court filing that Pitt has not been paying substantial child support in the last year-and-a-half, and that she plans to pursue a court order forcing him to pay up.

In June, Pitt and Jolie's custody battle hit a fever pitch and a judge required Jolie tell their children that the "court has determined that not having a relationship with their father is harmful to them", that they are "safe with their father", and that having a healthy relationship with both parents is "critical".

What's more, those close to Pitt believe that Jolie only filed the new papers as a warning shot after he told her that he wanted to restart the formal divorce process.

The judge also ordered that Jolie arrange a phone call "with her kids and their doctors" to confirm to them directly that they are safe with Pitt.

Jolie's team is asking for a status conference to address the issue.

But a source with knowledge of the case has claimed the court filing by the 43-year-old "Maleficent" actress was done in order to get their marriage "dissolved" quickly.

Pitt's net worth as of 2018 has been estimated at around $240 million.

Pitt's spokesperson has yet to respond to the allegations, which emerge days after Jolie's representative, Mindy Nyby, denied reports suggesting the actress' main attorney, Laura Wasser, had quit over "internal conflicts" regarding the case.

The two - who share Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and 10-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox - separated in September 2016 after two years of marriage. She is now in London filming maleficent and a judge set out a schedule for time the children should spend with their father, either individually or in a group.

The same source has also claimed Jolie is 'fueled with anger and has gotten ridiculously unreasonable'.

But sources close to Pitt said Jolie has been "extremely difficult" during the negotiations and that he had told her he'd had enough of the endless back-and-forth over the kids.
