Diablo 4 Release Date News Blizzard job announcement updates for new PS4 Xbox PC game

It's a bit tough to say with any certainty at the moment, but Blizzard has been dropping some hints about the next Diablo for quite some time. It seems likely that Diablo 4 is one of their long-term goals for the franchise, and we know the developer is teaming up with Titan Comics to produce a comic miniseries later this year. It turns out that there are not just one, but multiple Diablo games in the works.

Blizzard today re-confirmed that Diablo isn't dead: the publisher is developing several new projects that may be announced sometime this year. Camel admits that some are going to take longer than others, but that there might be some news to share "later this year".

For now, Camel directed current Diablo III players to the game's 14th Season, the "Season of Greed". However, this is the first time that Blizzard has addressed the fan base when it comes to the future of Diablo.

However, there is more to it than that, as Brandy goes on to say: "We'd also like to let you know that the forges here at Blizzard are burning hot". Maybe Diablo III will launch on Nintendo Switch?

We've had an idea that some Diablo-related rumblings were going on as Blizzard has posted multiple job listings over the last few years.

Blizzard has learned oh-so-much about monetization since Diablo III launched, and we should see a more thorough and well thought-out plan with Diablo IV.
