She reportedly went home but after experiencing discomfort, went to George Washington University Hospital early Thursday morning. "She can even have my husband on Thursdays", tweeted Milano Thursday morning.

She last broke two ribs after falling in 2012, according to the New York Daily News. In 2014, she had a stent implanted to open a blocked artery and was also was hospitalized after a bad reaction to medicine in 2009.

"I will literally give 3 ribs to Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg if she needs them, along with whichever other body parts she requires until 2020", said activist and WaPo contributor Holly Figueroa O'Reilly.

"The biggest issue in anyone with a rib fracture is the pain and the impact on lung function", said CNN Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta.

The timing of 85-year-old RBG's fall is ominous, to say the least, if you're on the left.

"Of course, I am praying for her", The Hill quoted Conway.

Ginsburg is the oldest Supreme Court justice and one of four liberal-leaning judges on the high court. She was first diagnosed with colon cancer in 1999, and had to undergo surgery, chemotherapy and radiation.

Ginsburg leads the court's liberal wing. "She is a true force of nature, an extraordinary human being and we need her on the Supreme Court more than ever".

"If I had my choice of dissenters when I was writing for the court, it would be Justice Scalia", Ginsburg told the paper.

In recent years, she has gained celebrity status among progressives - who lovingly refer to her as the "Notorious RBG" - and was the subject a recent documentary, RBG.
