Epic Gets Creative with Fortnite's Latest Initiative: "Fortnite Creative"

Fortnite Season 7 Teaser 2

Fortnite Season 7 Teaser 2

Unfortunately, this does mean that we won't be seeing a complete, new Unreal Tournament game for quite some time. Once that period expires, everyone who owns Fortnite will be able to try Fortnite Creative for free.

Purchasing the Battle Pass for Season 7 will grant you access to Creative when the season goes live on December 6. Its battle royale mode is available on the Nintendo Switch. Perhaps the game does not have enough modding tools for such a thing?

Epic Games has announced Fortnite Creative, a new mode with more custom features, giving players the ability to design their own games and battle friends in new ways. However, Season 7 Battle Pass buyers get a bit of preferential treatment.

A new trailer is also expected to debut this morning, probably during the scheduled maintenance period. Fortnite, to the surprise of no one, is the reason for this move - it's grown so popular that Epic has focused many of its resources on growing it further and turning it into a lasting success.

The game mode starts with players being dropped into a little stonehenge looking area with different rocks acting as "rifts" into other peoples' open-world sandboxes.

The size of this has not been confirmed, but you can expect it to vary based on what platform you play the game on. Your own Creative server can be accessed by going through a Gold Rift.

And to hear YouTube gamer Lachlan tell it, history may be made again with Fortnite's new creative mode, set for announcement on Thursday at The Game Awards but leaked early on Lachlan's channel.
