Chelsea eyeing a transfer for Ligue 1 superstar Nabil Fekir

According to reports in Marca, Ligue 1 outfit Lyon have offered their star player Nabil Fekir to Real Madrid.

Higuain now plays for AC Milan and the forward has racked up seven goals and three assists in 17 games.

The 25-year-old playmaker was linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer, too.

Thirdly, even Florentino Perez would be aware that letting go of two players who are easily worth over 75 million euros each without getting any money from Chelsea in return makes no sense and will lead to mass losses in the books of Real Madrid. It remains to be seen if Lyon will sell Fekir in January.

Nabil Fekir has hinted at a potential future with Arsenal after suggesting that he would like to reunite with his former Lyon teammate Alexandre Lacazette.

Morata has only scored 22 goals in all competitions since joining Chelsea for a then club record £60m fee 18 months ago.

As far as influence is concerned, Fekir hasn't been bad either, averaging over 5 shots per 90 minutes, which testifies for his excellent shooting prowess and the fact that he carries a huge goal threat in the final third.

Things though have not improved very much as Sarri is still not sure as to who his first choice striker is - Alvaro Morata or Olivier Giroud. Real Madrid will be in the winter market with an aim to bolster their squad. It seems like the top clubs in Europe are hoping to give their fans a great present in the new year as they are closing in, or linked to some exciting talents from across the world.

Real Madrid is a destination that Eden Hazard has been admiring since childhood, with and without Zidane as the boss.
