Duchess of Cambridge spotted shopping with children in King's Lynn store

The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, at Sandringham for the Christmas Day service previous year.

It was all smiles for the duchesses of Sussex and Cambridge as they joined the Royal Family's Christmas Day church service at Sandringham.

The former "Suits" star could be seen placing a protective hand on Kate's back as the pair made their way inside the gates.

Hundreds of royal fans braved the cold conditions to catch a glimpse of the royals who traditionally spend the Christmas period with the Queen at Sandringham.

The Duchess of Cornwall is believed to be recovering from a heavy cold that forced her to miss an appearance at last week's Olympia Horse Show.

Many had brought bouquets of flowers or had got in the Christmas spirit by wearing Santa hats.

While the announcement further stirred rumors of a potential rift existing among the royals because of Meghan, the palace insisted the move is for a completely different reason.

Middleton's youngest child, Prince Louis, was not shopping with his mother and siblings but since the duchess referred to her other children this way we're wondering if she calls little Louis "poppet" too.

Before the performance, Meghan and her classmates are holding candles as Silent Night plays in the background. She said: "Now what I'm starting to learn is, even though things look incredible on the hanger, it doesn't mean they're going to look fantastic on me".

Meghan, who debuted a less-than-perfect curtsy previous year, confidently bowed her head, clasped her hands and lowered into the proper position as she curtsied to the Queen outside the Church of St. Mary Magdalene on Tuesday.

Last year, she became the first non-married partner to be invited to Christmas lunch at Sandringham with the Queen.
