Walgreens: Many stores open until Midnight Christmas Eve.

Most area shopping stores closed at 6 p.m., and will reopen December 26.

CVS: Open between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. Christmas Day.

Walgreens: Walgreens that are usually open 24/7 will be open all day on Christmas while Walgreens locations with limited hours will be open 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

The National Retail Federation found that 7 percent of people planned to still be shopping on Christmas Eve, and now the window for online shopping and sipping has closed, shoppers are rushing to the stores for the last-minute wrap-up.

You never know if you'll need to run out for something last-minute on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.

While some businesses - like Sheetz - are running promotions on Christmas Day, other businesses that are ordinarily open around the clock - like Walmart - will actually close. Those willing to take their Christmas spirit to the slopes dressed as Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus or the Grinch will get on the hill for free at Sunshine Village.

LCBO and The Beer Store locations will be open until 6 p.m. Certain bus routes will run every 25 to 45 minutes.

7-Eleven. Most stores are open 365 days a year, including Christmas Day.

Circle K. All locations are open normal hours on Christmas Day.

Publix. Stores will close at 7 p.m. Christmas Eve and will remain closed Christmas Day. Contact your local store for specific times. Christmas Eve, while Dollar General closes at 10 p.m.

Lowe's: Closing at 6:00 p.m.
