That's just what they've provided to us on this Friday morning, as Adrian Wojnarowski has just reported that Warriors restricted agent Patrick McCaw is signing an offer sheet with the Cavs.

Because they hold his rights, the Warriors have the option of either matching the Cavs offer and retaining McCaw, or letting him walk.

Golden State had until 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday to match the offer sheet, but let McCaw go to the Cavaliers on a deal that is non-guaranteed.

If the Warriors choose to keep McCaw, it could cost substantially more than just his salary figure because of luxury-tax ramifications.

The 6-foot-7 McCaw averaged 4.0 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 57 games last season, when he got hurt while attempting a dunk on March 31.

It has not yet been determined how long it will be before McCaw can return to game action after sitting out the season's first three months. The guard refused to sign his term sheet with the Warriors over the offseason and has been without the team for the entirety of the season.

The 23-year-old, who played his collegiate basketball at UNLV, was originally selected by the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round (38th pick overall) of the 2016 NBA Draft.
